The Fraud On The Management Of Metal Anodes PT Loco Montrado Is Investigated By The KPK Through The Former President Director Of Antam
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) explored several things when examining Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo as former President Director of PT Aneka Tambang (Persero), Tbk last week.
Among them are related to cooperation with PT Loco Montrado regarding the management of metal anodes which cost the state finances Rp100 billion.
Arie, the father of the former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo, was questioned on Tuesday, October 7, last week because there were other activities.
However, the KPK only issued an inspection schedule on Tuesday, October 14.
"In the examination, investigators explored what the initial processes were like, then there were allegations of fraud related to the cooperation in processing anodes at PT Antam in collaboration with PT LCM," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 14.
Through this examination, investigators also explored the profits of PT Loco Montrado on a corporate basis.
"We are also exploring further efforts related to the internal audit carried out," he said.
"As we know the witness, APA is also the main director of PT Antam, it means that of course there are steps that are also taken after being found or allegations of fraud related to audits or internal investigations carried out there," continued Budi.

Dodi has now been sentenced to 6.5 years in prison. Meanwhile, Siman Bahar has not been detained due to his health condition.
The status of the suspect Siman Bahar had died after the South Jakarta Court Judge (PN Jaksel) granted the pretrial lawsuit he filed. However, the KPK again named Siman Bahar as a suspect for the second time.
