Suspects Of Murder And Rape Of Elementary School Students In Cilincing Were Showered With Blows By Residents

JAKARTA - The raid on MR's house (17) carried out by residents of Cilincing, North Jakarta on Monday night, October 13, was tense. Many residents and police raided MR's house, the suspect in the murder case VI (12), an elementary school student whose body was found behind the mattress in MR's room. In the video seen, MR was arrested by residents along with the discovery of VI's body under the mattress.

MR that night, Monday, October 13, looks motionless. He was wearing a black shirt and dark gray pants, there was also a watch on his right wrist.

Repeatedly he covered his face and head using his hands to protect against blows and kicks by residents.

The young teenager, who still looks young, sits on a long bench of wood leaning on the wall. He is surrounded by local residents, none other than his neighbor.

MR's face looks battered, on his left hand there are dark green bruises. The part that MR's right eye looks bruised with a bright red color. His eyes also shrink due to injuries due to hard blows.

"Let's be finished," said one of the men heard in the video seen by VOI, Tuesday, October 14.

The words were accompanied by punches that led to MR's head many times. The teenager also returned to cover his face and head. The residents constantly beat MR for his heinous act.

The police have named MR (17) as a suspect in the alleged murder and rape of an elementary school student with the initials VI (12) in a rented house in Cilincing, North Jakarta. MR is currently still undergoing examination at the PPA Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar explained the chronology of the murder case against VI.

The sadistic murder was known from the suspicion of victim VI's father. Because until Monday night, victim VI never returned to his house.

"The first time the victim's father was suspicious. The victim was wanted by his father because he had not returned home," said Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar, Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

Luckily, the victim's father got instructions from a witness, a local resident who claimed to have seen victim VI at the perpetrator's house.

"So there was a witness, a friend of the victim who said that the victim was at the perpetrator's house," he said.

Then the victim's father reported the incident to the police. Residents and police then went to the scene to find the whereabouts of the victim.

"Initially, the perpetrator refused to admit that the victim was at his house. However, after the police arrived, an interrogation was carried out and checked in the perpetrator's room, the victim was finally found," he said.

The suspect MR admitted to killing the victim by strangling him, covering the victim's neck with a cellphone charger cable and even smothering him.

"We secured evidence of post-mortem and several items related to the incident, namely pillows and cables," he said.

Meanwhile, from the results of the post-mortem, it was found that the victim died of exhalation.

"(The victim) we have post-mortem, died from outness of breath, due to violence by the perpetrator. (the victim) was strangled and smothered," he said.
