Jung Sung Il 'The Glory' Announces Divorce After 9 Years Of Marriage

JAKARTA - Actor Jung Sung Il announced his divorce from his wife after nine years of marriage. He chose to end his household with his wife who is a non-celebrity.

The news of this separation was announced by the agency representing Jung Sung Il, XYZ Studio. They stated, "After careful considerations, Jung Sung Il and his wife decided to end their marriage."

"This decision was made in agreement without appointing who was guilty of each other," he said.

The agency also confirmed that even though the two divorced, they would communicate and continue to take care of their children together.

"Even though their relationship has been legally completed, they continue to support each other's steps and they do their best to raise their child," the agency said.

Jung Sung Il married in 2016 and has one child. Debut in 2002, he grew up on a theater and musical stage.

In his appearance at an event two years ago, Jung Sung Il recounted the moment he met his wife because of a friend. They were separated for three years and connected via email, but when they met again after 8 years, he asked her to get married.

He also opened up about his marriage to his wife on various occasions, so the news of this divorce shocked the public.

Jung Sung Il received public attention after starring in the series The Glory in 2023. He will return to acting through the series Made in Korea.
