KRON 2025: Printing The Young Generation Superior In The Field Of Global Competitive Robotics
JAKARTA - Sinar Mas Land through the Digital Hub also supports the implementation of the 11th Nusantara Robot Contest (KRON), to encourage the development of young Indonesian talents in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI).
Since its first launch in 2013, KRON has become an international robotics and AI competition at the Asian level, which is attended by thousands of participants from Singapore, Malaysia, and also Thailand.
This event not only brought together thousands of students from primary to secondary levels with direct experience in the field of technology, but also grew a strong interest in STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
"Competitions like KRON reflect our commitment to encouraging collaboration and creativity in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) as well as robotics in two sectors that play an important role in shaping Indonesia's future and the Asian region," said CEO of Digital Tech Ecosystem & Development Sinar Mas Land, Irawan Harahap.
The KRON 2025 features various competition categories, ranging from Drone Soccer, Robot Theater, Brick Speed AI Coding Creative, Coding Mission, Game Design & AI Project, Road Challenge, Humanoid Mission, Sumo Rumble, Kinder Mission, to 2 on 2 Soccer.

In addition to the main competition, KRON 2025 also presents a series of flagship programs such as Nusantara Roadshow (pre-event series in various cities), STEM & AI workshops and seminars, Education Conference with academic and industrial figures, as well as STEM Leader Award 2025.
"Through this activity, participants not only compete, but also learn, network, and innovate together in facing future technological challenges," added Firdiansyah, MIT, Chairman of the Indonesia Youth Robot Federation.
In addition to being a forum for robotics and artificial intelligence exploration, KRON is also expected to act as a gateway for Indonesian talents to appear in international robotics competitions.
