Purbaya Reveals IDR 200 Trillion Funds Encourage Economic Growth In The Fourth Quarter Of 2025
JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadive explained, in a meeting with investors, one of the things discussed was the impact of government policies, including the allocation of funds amounting to Rp200 trillion, on the national economy.
He conveyed that based on the calculation of his party, as well as input from banks that also manage the funds, the absorption showed a positive trend.
"But the others, they asked how the impact will be on the economy, all kinds of things. In our calculations, there were banks involved in the funds. They said the longer the absorption. Even BRI said ask for more, there were some who asked for more, later we could see if it could be done or not. Maybe it could be," he said.
He is also optimistic, with such absorption performance, national economic growth in the fourth quarter of 2025 has the potential to reach above 5.5 percent, even higher.
"They also ask the impact on the economy when it is usually visible. Yes, I said earlier that the fourth quarter is like that and in the future, if the policy is not changed, our economy will be faster, faster and faster it will grow," he said.
In addition, Purbaya said that this was his first opportunity to meet face-to-face with investors.
"Actually, they want to know, what do I look like. Really or not? I can deliver all kinds of my policy base in the future to ensure that we can create faster economic growth," he told the media crew, Monday, October 13.
In the discussion, investors expressed concern about the unimproved investment climate in Indonesia.
Responding to this, Purbaya explained that the main obstacle lies in the licensing sector, which according to him has become an old problem and is not in his authority to be corrected directly.
"One of their concerns is that the investment climate here is not good, what is my way of improving it. So I said with them earlier for the investment, it's already a permit, it's been decades, we can't fix it," he explained.

He added that in a system, service reforms had actually been carried out through the implementation of one-door integrated services (PTSP) and Online Single Submission (OSS). However, obstacles still remain in the field.
As a solution, Purbaya emphasized the need for the formation of the Team for the Acceleration of the Superior Development Program which is planned to be formed by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto.
After this team was formed, he committed to directly handling complaints and problems from business actors and investors.
"After that is there, then we will run quickly, where I will receive complaints from business people. From there we will break it, I will hold cases every one day in one week I will dedicate to declare the case there. So people can complain there, I will clean it up.
