Adrian Khalif And His Work Achieve Five Nominations At AMI Awards

JAKARTA - After being absent last year, Adrian Khalif again listed his name on the 2025 Indonesian Music Award (AMI) nomination list.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old soloist from Jakarta was first listed as AMI's nominee since 2017.

Since then, the Drian has consistently been nominated. However, at the 27th AMI Awards last year, Adrian was not nominated in any category.

This year, Adrian, who seems more mature as a soloist and whose fan base is expanding, broke a personal record by being nominated in five categories.

At the 28th AMI Awards, Adrian Khalif and his works were nominated in the Best Pop Album category, Best Pop Songwriter, Best Pop Music Arranger, Best Solo Soul/R&B Artist, and Best Collaborative Production Work.

"This is my most category so far," Adrian said at the 2025 AMI Awards press conference at Senayan, Central Jakarta, Monday, October 13.

Adrian does not want his record this time to be a burden to bring home the trophy. He chose to be grateful for his achievements.

"Entering the nomination is very proud. Whatever happens, I just want to be happy," he added.

For information, Adrian won the Best Pop Album nominations through his second full album released last year, 'Please Hope Gold'.

Then the nomination for Best Solo Soul/R&B Artist was achieved through his song entitled 'Maling' from the album 'Please Hope Gold'.

Still from the same album, but for the song 'Asumsi' performed through collaboration with Bernadya, Adrian won the nominations for Best Pop Song Creators, Best Pop Music Arrangers, and Best Collaborative Production Works.

For the Best Pop Song Creators category, Adrian Khalif shares roles with Bernadya, Iqbal Siregar, and Rendy Pandugo.

Meanwhile, specifically for the Best Pop Music Arranger category, the nomination was only recorded on behalf of Rendy Pandugo.
