JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower said that until now the 2026 Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) is still in the formulation process. He estimates that discussions related to the new UMP will be completed in November, in accordance with the established timeline.

He explained that this UMP issue was also entrusted to the National Wage Council (DP Nas) and the National Tripartite Cooperation Institute (LKS Tripnas).
He also ensured that later the determination of the 2026 UMP would be adjusted to all points of the decision of the Constitutional Court in 2024.
"You have to. That's number one. So the government is obliged and we are committed to implementing the Constitutional Court's decision, that the UMP must consider various factors. That's why we need to study and conduct social dialogue to get approval from various stakeholders," he explained.
