Im Siwan Prepares First Solo Album With SM Entertainment

JAKARTA - Actor Im Siwan returned to his initial career as a singer. He was revealed to be preparing his first solo album after 25 years.

Monday, October 13, the idol star has not been in the agency since last August. Even so, he worked on his solo album with SM Entertainment.

On the same day, SM Entertainment responded with One of our labels is preparing Siwan's solo album.

"We are coordinating regarding the release schedule," he said.

Siwan's collaboration with SM Entertainment is fairly interesting considering when he debuted as a member of the group ZE: A from the Star Empire agency in 2010.

After his group was deactivated, Siwan began to focus on acting and was released from the image of idols because of his praised acting. He starred in various films and dramas including Misaeng, Run On, and Squid Game 2.

The 36-year-old actor has also contributed several times to his voice for Korean drama soundtracks such as Misaeng, The King Loves, Tracer, and Boyhood.

In addition, he also appeared at awards events as well as fan meeting events that built expectations for his solo appearance.

This is Im Siwan's first musical work since he was a soloist.
