Lionel Messi Returns To Argentina Squad After Gemilang Victory With Inter Miami
JAKARTA - Lionel Messi has returned to training with the Argentine National Team (Timnas) after playing in the MLS (Major League Soccer) match with Inter Miami against Atalanta on Sunday, October 12, 2025 WIB.
The 38-year-old was called up by Argentina's manager, Lionel Scaloni, for the match against Venezuela and Puerto Rico. However, the captain was not included in the squad for a 1-0 win over Venezuela on Saturday, October 11, 2025 WIB, at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami.
Scaloni revealed that it was he who decided not to include Messi in the cast list.
