Denmark Open 2025: Indonesia Sends 16 Representatives, Gregoria Comeback

JAKARTA Indonesia sent 16 representatives to the Denmark Open 2025 which took place this week, including the women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung whose health has just improved.

The Super 750 BWF level tournament will take place on October 14-19 2025 at Jyske Bank Arena, Denmark. The prize provided was US $ 950 thousand or Rp. 15.7 billion.

Gregoria, who previously missed the Super 750 BWF China Masters and Super 500 BWF Korea Open due to the recurrence of vertigo, is in the draw released by the International Badminton Federation (BWF).

The badminton player who won the bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics took part with Putri Kusuma Wardani. In the first round, Gregoria met Kirsty Gilmour (Scotland), while Putri met Anmol Kharb (India).

From the men's singles sector, Indonesia sent Alwi Farhan, Jonatan Christie, and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. The last name immediately met the two hosts, namely Anders Antonsen.

Then the men's doubles dropped four representatives, namely Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana, and Muhammad Rian Ardianto/Rahmat Hidayat.

Rian/Rahmat were immediately tested by the second seeded pair from Malaysia, namely Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik. If they win, they are most likely to face Leo/Bagas in the second half.

Next, the women's doubles number sent three representatives. They are Lanny Tria Mayasari/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Maysa Trias Puspitasari, and Rachel Alllessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum.

The three couples previously played alone without being accompanied by other sectors at the 2025 Arctic Open last week. The first pair returned home in the first half and the rest turned right in the second half.
