Pertamina EP Borong Six Awards For Commitment In The Social Sector
JAKARTA - A total of six awards were brought by PT Pertamina EP in implementing an impact, measurable, and sustainable social and environmental responsibility program (TJSL) throughout its operational areas.
"Pertamina EP continues to strengthen its role as a development partner who directly contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (TPB/SDGs)," said Pertamina Communication Relations & CID Manager EP Pinto Budi Bowo Laksono, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 11.
Pertamina EP won two Golden category awards, and four Silver category awards.
The Gold Award was won by Pertamina EP Sukowati Field through the Prabu Kresna (United, Creative, Healthy, and Prosperous Farmers) program, and Pertamina EP Papua Field through the Lestari Forest Management Program Based on Indigenous Peoples in Malasigi Traditional Villages.

This achievement, said Pinto, reflects Pertamina EP's consistency in implementing a sustainability strategy that is oriented towards improving people's welfare and environmental conservation.
He explained that all TJSL programs were designed and implemented in an integrated manner to answer the social and economic challenges of the community, strengthen local competitiveness, and encourage community independence through a regional potential-based approach.
"This effort is in line with the Company's commitment to supporting national energy security in line with social and environmental responsibilities," said Pinto.
Pertamina EP believes that reliable upstream oil and gas operations must go hand in hand with community empowerment and environmental protection.
