Ministry Of Finance Urges Taxpayers To Activate Cross Accounts For SPT 2025 Reporting

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) appealed to taxpayers to immediately activate an account on the core tax administration system (Coretax), considering that reporting an annual notification letter (SPT) for the 2025 tax year will start using the system.

"This year's SPT (2025) is the first SPT we will use beliax. Next year to be precise, March (2026), we are all reporting SPT. Those who have never used beliax, it's time to use doodleax," said the Expert Staff of the Minister of Finance for Tax Compliance Yon Arsal in the Media Gathering of the Ministry of Finance 2025 in Bogor, West Java, quoted by Antara, Saturday, October 11.

Yon explained that the ticketing account activation process is relatively simple and can be carried out independently by taxpayers.

To be able to report or fill in the annual SPT later, every taxpayer needs to first activate their account in the new system.

"To be able to access or fill in the SPT later, let's do the quintex account activity. It's a very simple process, just use the password and password, only a few steps," he explained.

With this convenience, the government hopes that there will be no more technical problems when the SPT reporting period starts next year.

Early activation is also expected to help taxpayers familiarize themselves with a new tax administration system that is more integrated.

Yon added that the annual income tax tax (PPh) report for the 2025 tax year will be carried out no later than three months after the end of the tax year, which is until March 31, 2026, in accordance with the General Provisions and Tax Procedures (KUP) Act.

According to him, until now there are still many taxpayers who have not accessed the graffiti system, especially private taxpayers. The system has only been used for corporate taxpayers since August 2025.

The company as the cutting, collection, and creator of the invoice have indeed used the beliax since August 2025. Meanwhile, the previous personal taxpayer was limited to validating the population identification number (NIK) and the taxpayer's main number (NPWP).

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance will intensify socialization of the use of beliax so that the SPT reporting transition next year runs smoothly.

"For next year's beliax for SPT, we are preparing all kinds of infrastructure. Public relations (DJP) friends are preparing to socialize for taxpayers so that the process of using the beliax becomes more smooth. We do infrastructure preparations, we also do socialization to taxpayers," he said.

Yon emphasized the importance of early account activation so that taxpayers do not experience problems when the reporting period arrives.

"The activation of the account earlier is a key to being able to enter the scribbling. We are worried that if it is not carried out immediately, 'how come I can't enter, can't report, and so on'. The activation of this account is important, that's why we encourage taxpayers to immediately activate the beliax account," he added.

The reporting principle using beliax is basically similar to the previously used e-filing mechanism, it's just that the system is now integrated with a more modern tax administration machine.

"The principle is the same, only the engine now uses bettax," he said.
