Ragunan Opens At Night, These Are The Animals You Can Visit
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will open the Ragunan Wildlife Park (TMR) at night starting today. For now, Ragunan is open only on Saturdays every week from 18.00 to 22.00 WIB.
Head of Public Relations of Ragunan Wildlife Park, Wahyudi Bambang, explained that not all animals can be visited during night operations.
"Only four types of animals are opened for night visits, namely small mammals, Sumatran tigers, reptiles (terarium), and hippos," Wahyudi told reporters, Saturday, October 11.
Diurnal or active animals during the day should not be visited at the opening of Ragunan at night. These types of animals must rest at night, so their area is closed at night.
In addition, visitors can also witness attractions for feeding a number of animals, namely small mammals, hippos, Sumatran tigers, complicated, and reptiles (ular) in the terarium area.
The attraction schedule is carried out at different hours according to the predetermined mechanism.
In addition, Ragunan management also provides operational vehicles in the form of electric cars. The rental rate is IDR 250,000 per hour with a capacity of 5 people with a predetermined route of seeing animals.
"Visitors are not obliged to use operational vehicles to see the specified animals. However, if you choose to walk, it should be noted that the distance between cages is quite far from the entrance," said Wahyudi.
