ASN Salaries Have Not Been Confirmed To Increase In 2026, The Ministry Of Finance Is Still Waiting For Certainty

BOGOR - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) stated that until now there has been no special allocation in the 2026 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) aimed at increasing the salaries of state civil servants (ASN).

"When we talk about 2026 in the financial note, there is no visible salary increase in 2026," said Budget Director for Economic Affairs and Maritime Affairs Tri Budhianto in the Media Gathering of the 2026 State Budget, Friday, October 10.

Tri added that the Ministry of Finance has not yet received official directions regarding the additional payroll policy for ASN in the coming year.

According to him, if the government has set a salary increase as a national priority, the allocation of funds will be directly reflected in the 2026 State Budget document.

"The Minister of Finance has already conveyed that at this time we have not received the policy, whether it will be increased in 2026. So we are waiting for government policies regarding salary increases," he said.

However, Tri did not rule out the possibility of a policy change in the future and the final decision remained in the hands of President Prabowo and would rely heavily on the government's priorities at that time.

"If the government considers a salary increase to be a priority, I am sure it will be a calculation next year," he said.
