Indonesian U-23 National Team U-23 Vs India U-23: Young Garuda Defeated 1-2
JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian national team reaped unsatisfactory results in the inaugural trial match against India U-23. In preparation for the 2025 SEA Games, the Garuda Squad lost 1-2.

It was bitter when Indonesia U-23 made a blunder and was punished by India's goal in the fifth minute. Muhammed Suhail's hard kick could not be parried by Cahya Supriadi and left Garuda Muda 0-1 behind.
India almost doubled their lead in the ninth minute after chaos occurred in the U-23 Indonesia defense, Indian players fired a shot that Alfharezzi Buffon could block.
In the 28th minute, Toni Firmansyah fired a shot from outside the penalty box. However, the ball still doesn't lead to India's goal.

Two minutes later, Muhammed Suhail again shook the U-23 Indonesia goal. Suhail was free to release a hard kick and got off guard to change the score to 2-0.
Indonesia U-23 reduced the lag to 1-2 in the 41st minute. Dony Tri Pamungkas listed his name on the scoreboard after firing a measured shot. The result lasted until halftime.
Continuing the match to the second half, Indonesia U-23 tried harder to find additional goals. Indra Sjafri as the coach outsmarted him by playing Jens Raven.
Even though they played better after halftime, Indonesia U-23 had difficulty scoring goals. Until the 70th minute, Garuda Muda was still 1-2 behind and the goal never came in the second half. As a result, Indonesia gave up 1-2.
