Police Exhume The Body Of Student UNG Gorontalo Dies After Diksar

The Bone Bolango Police in Gorontalo Province immediately carried out an exhumation of the body of a student from the Gorontalo State University (UNG) who died after attending basic education (diksar) student organization.

Bone Bolango Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Supriantoro said the exhumation process for the body named Mohamad Jeksen was an excavation of the bodies that had been buried for scientific examination, especially for investigation and judicial purposes, in order to reveal the unnatural cause of death.

"Previously, our investigators had carried out a case title and their status had been raised to the investigation stage," Supriantoro said in Gorontalo, Thursday, as reported by Antara.

With this status, the Bone Bolango Police Satreskrim investigators plan to go to the hometown of the late Mohamad Jeksen in Wapunto Village, Duruka District, Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province.

Arriving in Muna Regency later, Satreskrim personnel led directly by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Adjunct Police Commissioner Yudhi Prastio, immediately coordinated with the police and local hospitals to carry out the exhumation process.

The process was carried out in order to reveal the main cause of the death of the late Mohamad Jeksen, who may have died from an element of violence or disease.

Pada tahapan sebelumnya, penyidik Satreskrim telah memeriksa 25 orang saksi yang terdiri dari kolen penaksana diksar, rekan setajangan selaku peserta, pengajaran Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, serta pihak rumah sakit.

During the examination of witnesses, the Satreskrim investigators did not encounter any significant obstacles, because all the witnesses who were invited and examined were all cooperative.

"God willing, the exhumation process in Muna Regency will run smoothly. Regarding the results and next stages, it will be submitted back openly to the public," he added.

As previously reported, the late Mohamad Jeksen died in hospital after participating in the Diksar activity of natural lovers students at the Gorontalo State University which took place in Suwawa District, Bone Bolango Regency.

Mohamad Jeksen's death was considered unnatural by his family and relatives, so the Bone Bolango Police were asked to thoroughly investigate the cause of death of the deceased.
