MG Windsor Inspire Edition Launches, Limited Production 300 Units Only
JAKARTA MG Windsor continues to steal attention in India as one of the most competitive electric cars in its class. The twins of the Wuling Cloud EV, which is also marketed in Indonesia, are known for their affordable price, especially because of the Battery as a Service (BaaS) system that allows buyers to rent batteries to reduce their initial costs.
Commemorating one year of its journey in the Indian market, MG Motor India celebrated this achievement by launching the Windsor Inspire Edition. This special edition was produced by only 300 units, marking a historic milestone in MG's journey to wider electrification.
Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, Anurag Mehrotra, said that Windsor Inspire Edition is a form of appreciation for customers and their contribution to strengthening the electric vehicle movement in India.
"After breaking through more than 40,000 units in just one year, love and trust in Windsor became the strength behind the birth of this special edition," he said, quoted from Rushlane, Friday, October 10.

Windsor Inspire Edition appears more exclusive with a number of new visual touches, both on the exterior and interior. The car is only available with a 38 kWh battery pack, and is priced from 990,000 rupees (around Rp. 184 million) for battery rental versions, or 1,664,000 rupees (around Rp. 310 million) for full purchases. Unitary deliveries are scheduled to start October 15, 2025.
In terms of appearance, this special edition looks charming thanks to the combination of Pearl White and Starry Black colors in two notes, combined with an 18-inch black rim with Rose Gold. The touch of rose gold is also present at the front grille, the bumper shield, to the side molding. Not to forget, the exclusive Inspire emblem confirms this limited edition status.
Entering the cabin, premium nuances are increasingly felt through Sangria Merah and Hitam skin, as well as gold accent details in various interior parts. The Inspire logo is elegantly embroidered on the back of the head, equipped with special pillows, skin lock, and a Drive Mate Pro+ package that includes the roof of the Skynight Infinity View glass and a door threshold plate with wireless illumination.
Through Windsor Inspire Edition, MG not only celebrates the sales achievement of 40 thousand units, but also affirms its commitment to sustainable electric mobility, in line with the Indian government's vision for a greener future.
