Pertamina Sanksi Gas Station Cheating In Mengwi Bali

Pertamina Patra Niaga imposed sanctions on the manager of a public gas station (SPBU) in Mengwi, Badung Regency, Bali because it was suspected that an officer was involved in abusing the sale of subsidized fuel.

"We do not tolerate gas stations that violate the provisions and commit fraud in services to consumers," said Communication Manager, Relations, Social Responsibility and Regional Environment of East Java Bali and Nusa Tenggara Sunday Rahedi in Denpasar, Thursday, October 9.

There is also a sanction in the form of temporarily stopping for 30 days for the distribution of Pertalite type subsidized fuel at gas stations starting October 26, 2025.

He explained that the police had carried out further investigations related to the operation of the gas station with number 54,803,37 on Jalan By Pass Tanah Lot, Cemagi, Mengwi District.

The examination was carried out because from the results of the development, it was suspected that there was involvement of a gas station officer who collaborated with a suspect with the initials AR who was previously arrested by the police on Tuesday (16/9).

AR uses a subsidized fuel purchase system by utilizing 22 fictitious barcodes through modified four-wheeled vehicles.

The car was modified with an additional 12-volt tank and pump engine to move fuel to jerry cans, then sold to stalls selling retail gasoline.

His party has also checked and checked the chronology at the gas station regarding the cheating practice.

"If similar violations are found again, further sanctions will be given and can reach the Termination of Business Relations (PHU)," he said.

Sunday supports the legal action of the Badung Police, including overseeing the distribution of subsidized fuel so that it is truly utilized by the people who are entitled.

"We hope that this synergy will continue to monitor the distribution of subsidized fuel," he said.

He invites the public if they find the practice of cheating on gas stations to report one of them through the 135 service center.
