Many About TKD Funds, Commission II Of The DPR Asks The Minister Of Home Affairs To Better Supervise Regions

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the House of Representatives, Zulfikar Arse Sadikin, asked the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian to be better at fostering and supervising the region.

This was said by Zulfikar in response to the many problems of transfer funds to the regions (TKD) which were cut by the Ministry of Finance.

Zulfikar said that his party had summoned the Minister of Home Affairs to discuss the TKD issue. In fact, Commission II of the DPR also summoned regional heads.

"We are talking about how the Ministry of Home Affairs fosters, oversees the TKD that has been received. We have often summoned the Ministry of Home Affairs and participated in the Regional Head. We also conveyed this matter (TKD)," said Zulfikar at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, October 9th.

"What is clear is that we ask the Ministry of Home Affairs to be better at fostering and supervising the region," he continued.

Regarding the coordination meeting between the leadership of the DPR and the Minister of State Secretary and the Minister of Cabinet at the DPR building yesterday, Zulfikar did not want to comment much. According to him, there was no order from the leadership of the DPR to Commission II.

Meanwhile, regarding TKD funds which are one of the things discussed, Zulfikar assessed that the issue was discussed at the Budget Agency (Banggar) and Commission XII of the DPR who were in charge of finance.

"We don't (Commission II). It's Commission XI if it's the same as Banggar, if we don't. We rarely talk about it," he concluded.

Previously, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, revealed about a meeting with Cabinet Secretary (Seskab), Teddy Indra Wijaya and Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi.

The meeting was held in the leadership room of the DPR, the Nusantara III building of the DPR, on Wednesday, October 8, yesterday.

Dasco said the meeting was only a coordination meeting between the government and the DPR regarding the current national situation.

"Yes, we are coordinating between the executive and the legislature, exchanging information about the current situation regarding politics, economy, security and others," said Dasco.

Dasco denied the meeting was suddenly held. He admitted that the meeting had been scheduled since four days ago.

"That's an invitation from 4 days ago," he said.

Dasco said, there were many discussions in the coordination meeting. One of them is related to the cut Transfer to Regions (TKD) funds.

"Yes, together with the finance minister, we also discuss the latest dynamics of regional transfers," he said.

However, said Dasco, there has been no progress on the matter. "Not yet there," he added.
