In the match at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Jeddah, the Garuda Squad had won 1-0 over Saudi Arabia with Kevin Diks' penalty in the 11th minute.
However, this advantage did not last long. Six minutes later, Waheb Saleh was able to equalize after scoring a goal through a hard kick from outside the penalty box.
Al Brikan's Feras then made Saudi Arabia turn 2-1 ahead in the 26th minute with a penalty kick.
Regarding the two goals, Kluivert considered the Indonesian national team players to have made basic mistakes.
"I don't think we maintain the interlinary space well so their wingers can enter and stab our defense."
"I don't think we were able to maintain control of the game after winning 1-0. Then we conceded an easy goal and that shouldn't have happened," Kluiver said.
In the second half, the Indonesian national team tried to catch up, but conceded again by Feras Al Brikan. Garuda's squad could only score the second goal at the end of the match through Kevin Diks' penalty.
"Of course I am very disappointed, but we still have a match to play. (Loss with a score) 2-3, we played against a good team. We can't lower our heads," said Kluiver.
