BlibliFresh Answers Groceries Online Shopping Challenges
JAKARTA - Online grocery spending so far is still facing a number of real obstacles. The Kumparan survey on online supermarket customers (JulyAgustus 2025) noted that 68 percent of the problems occurred in the post-purchase and fulfillment phases. The problems that are often encountered include 34 percent of customers experiencing empty stocks that were just informed after checkout, 26 percent of products that did not match expectations, 25 percent of delivery longer than estimated, to fresh products such as vegetables and fruit that came in damaged conditions.
Responding to these challenges, Blibli (PT Global Digital Niaga Tbk) presents BlibliFresh, to strengthen online shopping services for groceries from Bliblimart which makes the shopping experience simpler, fresher and more relevant. BlibliFresh is not only present as an online shopping channel for groceries, but carries three main promises that are the foundation of the customer experience.
First, Must Be Fresh where every fresh product is chosen and curated with high quality standards. Consumers can be calmer because what they receive has gone through a rigorous selection process so that they are always in the best condition.
"We understand that customers want the experience of shopping for groceries that are not only practical, but also always reliable. Products must be fresh, delivery must be fast, and the process after purchase must be easy because this will determine customer satisfaction. BlibliFresh is here to bring an enjoyable experience of online shopping for groceries in Indonesia," said Rizki Widyastuti, VP of Bliblimart & Moslem Fashion, in his statement, Thursday, October 9.
Coinciding with World Egg Day which falls on Friday 10 October, BlibliFresh comes with an egg promo for each purchase worth IDR 150,000. Wilson Kiantoro Head of Brand Management Blibli said that as a promo signature, BlibliFresh provides free eggs in every transaction.
Apart from being coincident with World Egg Day, eggs were chosen because they were the main needs of Indonesia's household. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) 2023 shows that the consumption of Indonesian chicken eggs reaches 2,212 kg per capita per week. Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin even recommends routine consumption of two boiled eggs every morning to meet daily protein needs.
