Nikita Mirzani's Lawsuit Trial Postponed, Housing Developer Absent

JAKARTA - The inaugural trial of the lawsuit against the law (PMH) filed by Nikita Mirzani to Reza Gladys and her husband Attaubah Mufid had to be postponed.

The reason is, one of the parties who was withdrawn as a defendant, namely PT Bumi Parama Wisesa as a housing developer, was not present at the trial without giving clear reasons.

Nikita's attorney, Usman Lawala, explained that the absence of the developer made the formal preparation of the trial not yet fulfilled.

"The defendant has not been able to come but did not provide a clear reason why his absence caused eh to not be able to come," said Usman Lawala at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, October 8.

Although the summons (relaas) had been received legally, the judge decided to recall the developer at the next hearing.

"The judge decided that in accordance with the procedural law, he should be summoned once again legally," he explained.

PT Bumi Parama Wisesa was withdrawn as a party in this lawsuit because of a connection in the financial transaction process which is the subject of the problem.

"Well, his presence is to complete the formality of this lawsuit, that's it. So if he is not withdrawn, the formality of this lawsuit becomes flawed. So the law is that he must be used, drawn to be a party and positioned as a defendant in this case," explained Usman Lawala.

The trial will resume on October 22 with the agenda of calling the defendant along.

Previously, Nikita Mirzani's party launched a counter-attack by filing a civil lawsuit against the unlawful act (PMH) against Reza Gladys and her husband, Attaubah Mufid.

Unmitigated, the total loss demanded reached Rp244 billion. Nikita Mirzani's legal team officially announced the filing of the lawsuit at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday, September 30. This lawsuit has been registered with case number 1000/PDT/2025.

One of the lawyers, Andi Syarifudin, revealed the details of the fantastic lawsuit.

"There was a material loss, yes, what was requested was Rp. 4 billion. Then there was a loss due to negligence, amounting to approximately Rp. 40 billion. Then there was compensation for immaterial losses of Rp. 200 billion," said Andi Syarifudin.

This lawsuit was filed because Nikita felt aggrieved after the unilateral cancellation of the agreement which led to a criminal report.

"The main point of the lawsuit is that it begins with a mutual agreement between the parties where one party unilaterally cancels using criminal law instruments, so that it causes material and immaterial losses to our clients," explained Andi Syarifudin.
