JAKARTA - Cases of mass poisoning that have occurred in a number of areas in the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program have recently raised public concerns about the importance of maintaining the quality of food intake.
Responding to this, Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin (BGS) shared simple tips so that people can prepare a healthy and nutritious lunch at home.

We are always told to eat nutritious foods. Here are examples with guidelines for the content of standard plates from the Ministry of Health. In it, how much rice, how many vegetables, how many side dishes," Budi said in a video uploaded to his personal Instagram account @bgsadidin.
According to him, the concept of 'My plate contents' can be applied easily in everyday life, including when preparing supplies for school, work, or other activities.
"In preparing provisions, it is better to fill the dining box with a balanced portion between carbohydrates, protein, vegetables, and fruit," he added.
In part of the caption, Budi also gave an example of the application of these guidelines in his daily life. He admitted that he is now starting to bring his own provisions using a food container which he calls funny and useful.
"Now the contents of my plate are in the form of eating stalls, and I'm starting to bring my lunch suitably using this useful funny topic," he wrote.
In the upload, Budi showed examples of provisions that could be used as references by the community. He prepares white rice as a source of carbohydrates, grilled chicken, tempeh, or tofu as a source of protein, tumis long beans for vegetables, and dragon fruit as a complement to vitamins and fiber.
"After breakfast with two boiled eggs, then followed by lunch using a balanced nutritional provision, it is guaranteed to make you full from noon to dinner later. So, don't like to bring supplies from the house filled with white rice plus boxy fried noodles," said the Minister of Health.
Budi hopes that this simple step can help people be more aware of the importance of balanced nutritional intake in their daily lives.
He emphasized that bringing supplies from home is not only more efficient and hygienic, but also ensures that each family member gets adequate nutrition according to the needs of the body.
