Apple Sindir Windows Through Funny Video The Underdogs: BSOD, Mac Becomes A Hero In The Middle Of Blue Screen Of Death
JAKARTA - Apple is again showing off the advantages of its ecosystem and product security through the latest video of the The Underdogs series entitled BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). In a few minutes long video that aired on Apple's YouTube channel on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the Cupertino-based company satirically satirized the Windows operating system by displaying a huge mess due to the legendary blue screen that signaled the failure of the PC system.
As usual, this video features four main characters from the fictional BetterBag Crew team, known as the Underdogs, a group of creative employees who always find smart solutions using Apple products. This time, they are attending a technology show called ContainerCon, where various companies are competing to showcase their latest innovations.
Initially, the atmosphere of the convention seemed normal until suddenly one by one the computer screen at various booths featured a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) message of Windows's typical error which indicated the system was experiencing fatal damage. In an instant, the entire room turned quiet, full of panic, and blue light due to hundreds of screens that crashed simultaneously.

However, in the midst of the chaos, only the BetterBag booth is still functioning normally. Their Mac device remains stable, allowing the team to resume activities such as scanning a business card with the iPad Pro, sharing presentations through the MacBook, and signing a business contract using Apple Pencil. One of the team members even received calls from technical support who calmly said, "That's a PC problem, your Mac is safe."
This security message is at the core of Apple's promotion in the video. Apple insists that the security system on Mac devices has a sophisticated layer of protection such as endpoint detection and response as well as a kernel protection system capable of monitoring malicious activity in real-time. All of that makes the Mac much more resistant to cyberattacks and system damage that often hit Windows-based computers.
However, The Underdogs didn't stop there. In a moment full of humor and empathy, the BetterBag team decided to help other exhibitors whose devices were damaged by loaning a mini Mac so that they could return to work. This scene illustrates the value of solidarity and cooperation, at the same time emphasizing Apple's message that technology should make it easier, not panic.
Interestingly, this video also displays a number of Apple ecosystem products and features in a subtle way, such as AirDrop for sharing fast files, Apple Intelligence as the latest AI feature, Memoji for expressive communication, Apple Music as entertainment, Apple News for reading news, and Mindfulness Alerts from Apple Watch which reminds users to remain calm in the midst of chaos everything is presented naturally and entertainingly.
The Underdogs series itself has become Apple's annual tradition since it was first introduced in 2019. Every year, this video features a different story describing how Apple devices help small teams conquer major challenges in the world of work. In 2023, they appeared in the Swiped episode that tells of the stolen MacBook Pro search, and in 2024 they ventured into Thailand looking for new manufacturing partners.
Through BSOD, Apple has succeeded in combining humor, satire, and promotion of products in one entertaining package as well as sharp. On the one hand, Apple is laughing at the dependence of the world of work on vulnerable Windows systems, and on the other hand strengthening the Mac image as a symbol of stability, security, and work efficiency.
