Attorney General Calls 5,209 Hectares Of Illegal Mining Land Again Quoted By The State
JAKARTA - The Forest Area Control Task Force (PKH Task Force) managed to regain 5,209.29 hectares of forest area land that was used as illegal mining.
"As of October 1, 2025, the PKH Task Force has succeeded in re-controlling 5,209.29 hectares of forest areas over 39 company entities," said Attorney General ST Burhanuddin in a statement quoted from Antara, Tuesday, October 7.
The PKH Task Force has also succeeded in identifying 5,342.58 hectares of land known to operate without going through the specified mechanism related to approval for the use of forest areas (PPKH).
Thousands of hectares of the land, said Burhanuddin, are scattered in the provinces of Southeast Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, and North Maluku.
In addition to re-overtaking the forest land that was used as illegal mining, the PKH Task Force again managed to control the land in the forest area planted with illegal palm oil plants.
The Attorney General revealed that the PKH Task Force had regained control of 3,404,522.67 hectares of land.
Of the total area of the forest area, the PKH Task Force has handed over and entrusted oil palm plantations covering an area of 1,507,591.9 hectares to PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) through four stages.

Of this amount, the remaining land tenure that has not been handed over to PT Agrinas covers 1,814,632.64 hectares.
"(The PKH Task Force) is in the process of verifying it to be submitted at the next stage to PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara," said the Attorney General.
It is known that the PKH Task Force was formed based on Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 5 of 2025 concerning Forest Area Control. The Presidential Regulation was determined by President Prabowo Subianto on January 21, 2025.
