Menkum Affirms Reconciliation Of Pure Internal PPP, Without Presidential Andil

JAKARTA - Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas emphasized that reconciliation of the two camps of the United Development Party (PPP) is purely internal to the party, and without President Prabowo Subianto's contribution.

"There is no (Presidential evidence, ed). This is an initiative from all of my friends within the PPP," Supratman said at the Ministry of Law's office, Jakarta, Monday, October 6.

Supratman explained that President Prabowo always said political parties must solve their own problems if they have problems.

Therefore, he said the government was grateful because PPP was able to solve the problem.

"It turns out that it can be finished. Everything can be done. Earlier we embraced all received the Minister's Decree, and today (Monday 6/10) it looks like there is no problem between the General Chair (Mardiono), Mr. Agus, and Gus Yasin," he said.

Meanwhile, he hopes that PPP's internal condition will improve after the reconciliation, especially at the lower level.

Everything is now in a very good position. Hopefully this downward will be the same," he hoped.

Previously, PPP held the 10th Congress in the Ancol area, Jakarta. Then Mardiono in Jakarta, on September 27, 2025, stated that he was elected by acclamation as General Chair of PPP for the period 2025-2030.

After that, the congress continued and decided Agus Suparmanto as chairman of the PPP for the period 2025-2030.

On October 6, 2025, the Minister of Law issued a Decree regarding the new PPP management.

In the decree, the General Chairperson of PPP is Muhamad Mardiono, Agus Suparmanto as Deputy General Chair, Taj Yasin Maimoen as Secretary General, and General Treasurer is Imam Fauzan Amir Uskara.
