Chiki Fawzi Ziarah To His Mother's Grave, Marissa Haque Before Sailing To Gaza
JAKARTA Behind his great determination and humanitarian action, Chiki Fawzi turned out to keep the soft side that he rarely showed. Before leaving for the Middle East for an aid mission to Gaza, Chiki first made a pilgrimage to his mother's grave, Marissa Haque Fawzi.
"Oh, yes. I got to his grave before sailing. Yes. Always, "said Chiki in a thin voice.
He admitted that even though his mother was gone, his blessing and prayers remained the greatest source of strength. "If you ask permission, you don't have one. It's more like I'm still alive praying for you," he said.
For Chiki, the humanitarian struggle he is doing today cannot be separated from the spirit inherited by his mother.
"I didn't expect me to have made it this far. Maybe the drive is yes," he said.
This moment serves as a reminder that every big step is always rooted in the prayers of parents. "Maybe I'll be surprised if I know too," Chiki said slowly.
Now, one year after his mother's departure, Chiki is increasingly convinced that all the trips of his life have been perfectly arranged. "It's true that the qadarullah is like that," he said.

Even though he didn't go sailing, Chiki was grateful to still be able to attend his mother's haul day. "I think everything has been arranged by Allah. I'm just trying to do my best," he concluded.
