KONAS ARSPTN 2025, Improve Education Hospital Service Quality

JAKARTA - The 6th National Congress (KONAS) of the Association of State Higher Education Hospitals (ARSPTN) will be held on October 3 - 4, 2025, at The Ritz Carlton, Jakarta. The 6th year meeting of ARSPTN was held at the University of Indonesia Hospital (RSUI) and the Special Dental and Mouth Hospital of the University of Indonesia (RSKGM UI).

The organizing of the event is a strategic forum for health professionals, academics, and relevant stakeholders to discuss to explore opportunities for international collaboration, in order to improve the quality of education hospital services.

Chairman of the RSPTN Association, Prof. Dr.dr Nasronudin, Sp.PD, K-PTI, FINASIM, said that with this event, it is hoped that later experts who are in university hospitals can further contribute to serving the health needs of the Indonesian people.

"This event strengthens the role of the Association of State Higher Education Hospitals (ARSPTN), so that the experts in each of these universities and hospitals can contribute to the success of all programs related to the government and contribute to the wishes, hopes, and needs of the Indonesian people," said Nasronudin on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

The event also received support from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). Collaboration with the RSPTN Association is said to be a strategic step to increase the integration of research, innovation, and utilization of the latest health technology.

RSPTN is encouraged to function like an open laboratory, not only for the medical field, but also for other sciences such as physics, machinery, and others.

"Indonesia has a comparative advantage over the equatorial position of our position, the types of our diseases, so I propose that ladies and gentlemen continue to advance with research and innovation, and become the locomotive for other sciences and knowledge," said the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Brian Yuliarto.

Through collaboration and joint research, a breakthrough is expected in the medical world and health technology that can reduce Indonesia's dependence on imported products is expected.

"RSPTN must become a champion as a leading and worldwide hospital," added Minister Brian.

Meanwhile, Professor Nasronudin, said that all PTN RSPTN/RSGM programs are ready to fully support research programs from the Ministry of Education and Technology. As for basic research, ARSPTN encourages increased performance and expansion of collaboration, and for inhibited research, namely collaboration with the national industry.

"The research conducted by this association carried out government instructions through the Ministry of Education and Technology. So it produces basic research products, namely publications, HKI patents, and the second results in research that has been inhibited," concluded Prof Nasronudin.
