Head of the Temanggung District Health Office, Central Java, Intan Pandanwangi, said that as many as 35,075 students in the area had participated in the Free Health Check (CKG) program, out of the target number 127,903 students.

"We continue to accelerate the CKG program for students, both elementary school students, junior high schools, as well as high school and vocational schools," he said in Temanggung, Saturday.

He said that the acceleration of the CKG program for students, namely by going directly to schools and in 2025, is committed to completing this program in accordance with the set targets.

"In accelerating CKG, all officers from the puskesmas are deployed, with a daily target of thousands of children," he said.

According to him, early detection of various health problems in school-age children is very important to ensure the child's optimal growth and development.

On the other hand, this program is a means of education for children about the importance of clean and healthy living behavior, such as washing hands, brushing teeth, and maintaining body hygiene.

"If the school children check from top to bottom, there are eyes, THT, then teeth, these are the children who have the most pain in their teeth, the caries are dentis. An appeal to return to clean and healthy living behavior," he said.
