Minister Of Trade Budi Ensures That Bapok Supply In East Java Is Safe-Stable
JAKARTA - The Minister of Trade (Mendag) Budi Santoso ensured that the stock of basic necessities (bapok) in East Java was in a safe condition and the price was also stable.
This was conveyed by Budi after a visit to Wage Market, Nganjuk Regency, East Java, on Friday, October 3.
"Today we have checked the supply and price of bapok at Wage Market. The supply is all there and the price is stable. We also continue to maintain people's purchasing power so that the market continues to grow," Budi said in an official statement.
Berdasarkan hasil pantuan menunjukkan, harga sejumlah komoditas bapok dijual di bawah harga acuan dan Harga Retail Tinggi (HET). Komoditas tersebut, yaitu beras medium Rp13,000 per kg, beras Stabilisasi Pasokan dan Harga Pangan (SPHP) Bulog Rp12.000 per kg.
Then, continued Budi, chicken eggs are Rp. 28,000 per kg, chicken meat is Rp. 35,000 per kg, and sugar is Rp. 16,000 to Rp. 17,000 per kg.
Then, curly chili is sold at a price of IDR 42,000 per kg, red cayenne pepper IDR 33,000 per kg, large red chili IDR 42,000 per kg, shallots IDR 26,000 per kg, garlic cat IDR 34,000 per kg, and garlic honorarium IDR 28,000 per kg.
In addition, it was observed that Oilita was sold at a price of Rp. 15,700 per liter, premium cooking oil was Rp. 21,000 per liter, and premium rice was Rp. 16,000 to Rp. 16,500 per kg.
"As well as Rp120,000 per kg of beef, as well as Rp12.000 per kg of wheat flour," he said.
After reviewing the market, Budi also visited the Sukomoro Red and White Village Cooperative (KKMP), Nganjuk Regency, East Java. This Sukomoro KKMP owns the Sukomoro Basic Food Store.
During his visit, Budi checked the price of bapok sold at the Basic Food Shop and the availability of supplies, especially rice and cooking oil. Trade Minister Busan also revealed that the price of bapok sold was stable and supply was sufficient.
"We have checked, this cooperative sells bapok at a stable price. The entry of bapok supplies to cooperatives in various regions, including sub-districts and villages, can help distribute bapok to the community," said Budi.

In addition to rice and cooking oil, continued Budi, bapok products available at KKMP Sukomoro, including sugar, eggs, garlic, onions, flour, instant noodles, cooking spices, and soy sauce. KKMP Sukomoro also provides LPG gas and fertilizer.
"We will help with the distribution, including Oilita through Bulog and ID Food. The supply will be distributed to cooperatives, especially the Red and White Villages Cooperatives so that supplies will be more guaranteed. We hope that this can encourage the price of bapok in the community to be more affordable," he said.
