Anwar Ibrahim Angry, Malaysians Demo US Embassy Demands The Release Of Flotilla Ship Volunteers
JAKARTA - Hundreds of people staged demonstrations around the United States (US) Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, demanding the United States use its influence on Israel, to immediately release Global humanitarian volunteer Sumud Flotilla.
The mob also asked the US to urge Israel to open access to the distribution of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The demonstration was carried out for the second time around the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. Previously on Thursday (2/10) the masses also carried out similar actions.
Reported by ANTARA, in its action, Friday, October 3, the crowd gathered around the Hajj Tabung Mosque on Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. The male masses first performed Friday prayers and performed celebration prayers for Palestine.
Furthermore, they moved together towards the future of the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysian Diraja Police have strictly guarded the road access to the future of the US Embassy in KL, so that the masses only operate around the embassy.

Previously, the political secretary of the Malaysian Prime Minister, Muhammad Kamil, emphasized the Palestinian issue beyond partisan politics.
"In the Gaza issue, we all have to put aside political, racial or religious differences, because this involves justice and humanity. On that basis, all parties must unite to support every effort, including those made by the Malaysian government," said Kamil.

World leaders contacted by Anwar include Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
"As of this afternoon, I have had direct discussions with the Prime Minister of Qatar, the President of Turkey, and the President of Egypt to gain their support in demanding the immediate release of Malaysian volunteers and activists who were unfairly detained," Anwar Ibrahim said in a statement in Kuala Lumpur, Thursday, October 2.
