Government Wants To Combine 4 Train Modes In Dukuh Atas, Target Completed 2027
JAKARTA - The government plans to develop a public transportation integration area in Dukuh Atas. Later, in the area, four modes of public transportation will be integrated and the target is completed in 2027.
Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Dudy Purwagandhi revealed that in the Dukuh Atas area, four modes of public transportation will be integrated, namely Integrated Moda Raya (MRT), Integrated Highways (LRT), Electric Rail Trains (KRL) and airport trains.
"The Dukuh Atas TOD will later integrate four train-based modes of transportation, thus providing more comfort to the community," he said in a media briefing, in Jakarta, Tuesday, September 30.
Based on talks with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov), continued Dudy, later the area will be designed to facilitate community mobilization.
"So it has been designed in such a way that people in carrying out their mobility can easily move from one mode to another at Dukuh Atas, Sudirman and BNI City stations. There was yesterday's design from the Governor," he explained.
Furthermore, Dudy said DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung hopes that the development of a public transportation integration area in the Dukuh Atas area can be completed in 2027.

"We as regulators support what is the plan of the DKI Provincial Government so that this can be realized soon," he said.
Dudy revealed that the benefits of transportation integration were not only felt by Jakarta residents, but also other local people who traveled to work in Jakarta.
"In fact, maybe not only the people of Jakarta, but the people around Jakarta because this will be connected to the commuters. The commuters can reach east, it can reach Cikarang, then to the west to Tangerang, Rangkasbitung, then Bogor, it will all be very connected to each other," said Dudy.
