The Attorney For The Diplomat Arya Daru Family Reports A Series Of Terror Experienced By His Client To The DPR
JAKARTA - The attorney for the family of the late Arya Daru Pangayunan, Nicholay Aprilindo, reported to Commission XIII of the DPR various terrors experienced by the victim's family after the death of the young diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ranging from a mysterious envelope, a damaged tomb, to a sowing of flowers at the tomb.
He said the first terror occurred on July 9, 2025 or the day after the funeral of the deceased.
"There was a mysterious man who came with a brown envelope for the deceased. When it was opened, it contained bubbles in the form of Cambodian, heart and star flowers," Nicholay said at a public hearing of Commission XIII DPR RI in the Parliamentary Area, Jakarta, Tuesday, which was confiscated by Antara.
He explained that the envelope was then handed over to the police together with Kompolnas, but until now there has never been further investigation into the origin or meaning of the object.
The next terror occurred on July 27 when the deceased's grave was damaged.
Then on September 16, the graves were sprinkled with red roses in the form of lines from head to toe. This shocked the family," he said.
The attorney assessed that the series of terror experienced by the family added a big question mark behind the death of the deceased.
"Why should the family be terrorized in such a way, while this case has been framed as a suicide from the start?" said Nikolai.

The father of the deceased, Subaryono, also expressed his immediate anxiety in front of the council members.
"As parents, we don't know where to go for clarity. The explanations that have so far have not calmed us down," he said in a trembling voice.
Subaryono said the family was trying to find help through legal advisors so that the events that befell his son could be fully disclosed.
He said that the family appreciated the efforts of the parties who were investigating this case, but he regretted that there was no definite clarity from the case of his son's death.
"We hope that this case can be explained clearly," he told the Chairman of the Commission XIII Meeting.
In the meeting, the wife of the late Meta Ayu Puspitantri was present with her attorney, father, and family.
The DPR also invited Deputy Head of LPSK Susilaningtias, Chairman of Komnas Perempuan Maria Ulfah Anshor, and officials of the Ministry of Human Rights.
