Anthropic Launches Claude Sonnet 4.5, More Sophisticated For Pengoding
JAKARTA Anthropic launched its newest Artificial Intelligence (AI) model, namely Claude Sonnet 4.5. This model is claimed to offer superior performance in supporting coding.
In its broadcast, Anthropic stated that Claude Sonnet 4.5 was able to build an application that was 'ready to produce', not just a prototype. This shows an increase in the quality of the code output produced by the Anthropic AI model.
Claude Sonnet 4.5 will be available to users through API Claude and chatbot Claude. Prices for developers are still the same as the previous model, namely 3 US dollars (Rp 49 thousand) per million input tokens.
The launch of this latest AI model may get a good response from developers and companies. The reason is, Claude is becoming a favorite because of its strong performance, especially in software engineering tasks.
Big tech companies such as Apple and Meta are also known to use the Claude model internally. However, OpenAI tried to seize the market by launching the GPT-5 recently. Therefore, Anthropic also introduced his latest AI model.

Anthropic claims that Claude Sonnet 4.5 offers leading-up performance in the industry on several coding benchmarks, including SWE-Bench Verified. However, according to Anthropic AI researcher Davidfayy, the performance of this AI model is difficult to measure just based on benchmarks.
fty revealed that he watched Claude Sonnet 4.5 do autonomous coding for up to 30 hours during the trial. The model not only builds apps, but also provides database services and conducts security audits.
In addition to its increasingly sophisticated coding performance, Anthropic also claims that Claude Sonnet 4.5 managed to be at the forefront. This model has lower levels of opaque and fraud than the previous model.
