BGN Immediately Build 27 SPPG Kitchens In Lampung Amid Mass Poisoning Cases

JAKARTA - Head of the Lampung Province Free Nutrition Eating Task Force (MBG) Saipul said the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) immediately built 27 kitchens of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) in the area.

The plan to build dozens of kitchens in Lampung was in the middle of a mass poisoning case due to the MBG menu that hit beneficiaries inside and outside Java.

"Based on current information from the 49 SPPG kitchen units that we propose to be built by BGN, it is planned that there will be as many as 27 SPPG kitchen units whose construction will be carried out in the near future," said Saipul in Bandarlampung, Monday, quoted by Antara.

He said that his party did not yet know the location of the 27 SPPG kitchen units that were immediately built in the area.

"We do not yet know where the construction is, but this will definitely be built in the near future to support the implementation of the Free Nutrition Food program in Lampung," he said.

He explained that for the SPPG kitchen in Lampung, which has been active so far, there are 458 units.

"There are 458 units of SPPG samples that have been active, and 351 units are already operating. These kitchens are SPPG kitchens in collaboration with private partners or foundations," he said.

According to him, with the operation of the SPPG kitchen, the target that has been reached by the free nutritious food program has reached 57 percent, which is 1.3 million from the target of 2.3 million beneficiaries.

"In carrying out this program, an evaluation will continue to be carried out to overcome and improve various problems and minimize various poisoning incidents," he added.
