Wuling Bingo S Officially Launches, City Electric Car With Futuristic Design

JAKARTA SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) officially launched Wuling Binguo S, a pure electric car designed for daily use in urban areas. Its presence complements the Binguo family which is now increasingly complete in the Chinese market.

Citing CarNewsChina, Monday, September 29, Binguo S is positioned above the standard Binguo hatchback and joins the recently introduced Binguo Plus SUV.

This car comes in four variants with a tag of 66,800 79,800 yuan. However, thanks to subsidies, the price has dropped to 63,800 76,800 yuan or around Rp. 149 179 million.

Modern Design

Binguo S carries a design with a smooth line and a rounding shape that gives a futuristic impression. The front uses a closed culling combined with a polygonal headlights with a C-shaped daytime running light. While the back appears with transparent sleek lights and roof spoilers. This car has a dimensions of 4,265 mm, a width of 1,785 mm, a height of 1,600 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,610 mm.

Minimal Interior

Entering the cabin, Bingo S offers a minimalist-style interior with two color choices: Soft White and Warm Brown. Standard features include an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch mid-screen of a floating model, a triple steering wheel, and a transmission lever installed in the steering column.

Complete Feature

All variants are equipped with important features such as tire pressure monitors, rear cameras, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, start button, synthetic leather seat, six speakers, automatic headlights, and driving mode options. For the top variant, there are additional ones such as 360-degree panoramic cameras, electric driver seats, heating front seats, and electric folding mirrors with heating.

Performance

The Binguo S runway is powered by a 75 kW electric motor with a torque of 180 Nm. There are two lithium-iron-fosphate battery options: 31.9 kWh (325 km range) and 41.9 kWh (430 km range) based on CLTC standards. This car also supports DC fast charging, which is capable of charging from 30% to 80% in just about 35 minutes.
