Innovation And Efficiency Are The Focus Of Industry In The Middle Of Global Economic Turbulence

JAKARTA - In the midst of global economic dynamics that demand high efficiency and competitiveness, PQM Consultants successfully held a Continuous Improvement (CI) Convention 2025 at The Alana Hotel & Conference Center Yogyakarta.

The event was attended by hundreds of professionals from various industrial sectors presenting projects to increase the productivity and operational efficiency of the company.

For more than a decade, PQM Consultants has consistently built a continuous improvement ecosystem in Indonesia and this year, CI Convention features projects from various companies that have succeeded in reducing operational costs (cost-saving), improving business processes, and providing product and service innovations.

"CI Convention 2025 is not only a competition, but also a source of inspiration for each other," said PQM Consultants Managing Director Yuwono Wijanarko in his statement, quoted Friday, September 26.

This event is expected to be a new carrier of enthusiasm, ideas, and commitment to continue implementing a continuous improvement culture in everyday life.

CI Convention 2025 assesses seven categories/streams in process innovation and increased productivity, namely Design Thinking, Suggregation System, Lean, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), PDCA, DMAIC, and 5S/5R.

CI Convention 2025 also gave awards to 94 award winners, as well as 32 special award recipients

Big companies such as PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, PT Komatsu Indonesia, PT Komatsu Undercarriage Indonesia, PT Mattel Indonesia, PT Petrokimia Gresik and PT Seikou Seat Cover won the Diamond Award.

Next, PT Paragon Technology & Innovation, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, PT Petrokimia Gresik, PT Paragon Technology & Innovation received a special award in the People's Choice Award category.

CI Convention Director Nunung Berna Hertin said that despite the challenging economic conditions, many companies are still able to innovate and make continuous improvements that can encourage continuous improvement in their respective companies.

"This is a breath of fresh air in the midst of today's volatile economic conditions, namely we can continue to strive to innovate and make continuous improvements," he said.
