Pramono Admits To Connecting Megawati And Jokowi's Communications
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said that he was often a bridge of communication between the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Chairperson of the PDIP, Megawati Soekarnoputri, with a number of political figures and other former Indonesian Presidents.
This senior PDIP politician also admitted that he played a role as a liaison between Megawati and the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. Pramono has played this role for a long time.
This was revealed when Pramono attended a public lecture at Padjadjaran University (Unpad), West Java.
"Indeed, I have always been doing things that are not common. I am a communicator, be it Bu Mega and Pak SBY, Bu Mega with Pak Jokowi, Bu Mega with Pak Prabowo, and also others," said Pramono, Friday, September 26.
In fact, Pramono has also been asked to mediate with politicians in resolving conflicts between them even though they are not in the same party.
"Sometimes outside of my party, when they conflict they ask me to be a mediator even though it's not my party. So then some people beat me with gold concaves," Pramono explained.
Pramono admitted that the communication style he applied in leading Jakarta was communicating with his heart and listening to input and criticism from residents.
"Communication is an option, we can choose what kind of emotions or something like. Well, I choose to communicate and solve various problems with my heart and listen to all criticism or input from the community," said Pramono.

Pramono explained, every input from residents is always a serious concern. He gave an example of public complaints on social media about the Cikini Station fence which was considered a hassle for KRL users to enter the station.
"When a lot of people give input on social media so that the fence at Cikini Station makes it difficult for public transportation users (KRL) because they have to go long and jump over the fence, I try to check directly in the field and ask for the fence to be opened and made a ticket crossing. After that, the community is grateful because it turns out that this problem has not been handled for a dozen years. Even though it's simple," he added.
