There is no specific drug for the campix yet. Most patients recover themselves in 2'4 weeks. In severe cases, doctors can give certain antiviral drugs.

Prevention can be done by:

- Maintain personal hygiene.

- Avoid contact with the patient.

- Not sharing personal items.

- Vaccination for high-risk groups.
