Meta Introduces Vibes, Special Feed For AI Videos On Meta AI Apps

JAKARTA - Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the launch of a new feature called Vibes, a special pass for video generated by artificial intelligence (AI), on Meta AI's apps and websites.

Vibes allows users to create and remix videos by utilizing popular AI and music models for free.

Introducing Vibes, an expressive video feed generated by AI from artists and content creators in the meta AI app. Create and remix videos with leading models and music for free," Zuck wrote in his announcement in his Threads post.

In his statement, Zuck called Vibes the first step in the direction of a new product being explored by Meta's Super Intelligence Lab.

Our lab is still cooking the latest AI model, and Vibes is the starting look of some of the innovations we've explored," he said further.

Meta also collaborates with a number of creative partners in the development of Vibes, including Midjourney which is known for AI-based visual technology, as well as Black Forest Lab which focuses on creative research.

The presence of Vibes affirms Meta's ambition to expand the AI ecosystem on its platform, as well as providing new facilities for artists and content creators to experiment with videos.

It's not yet known when this feature will be widely available, but Zuck insists that Vibes will be an important part of Meta's journey in providing a more interactive AI-based social experience.
