Here's How To Move Data From Old IPhone To New IPhone
JAKARTA When you upgrade the iPhone model used, data transfer is an important thing to do. Until now, there are several ways to move data easily.
You can move data from an old device to an iPhone that you just purchased with the two most common methods, namely iCloud or data cable. Here's how to move data with these two methods, according to Makeuseof.
Use iCloud
This method allows you to recover data without the need to hold an old device. You just need to make sure that your old iPhone has been backed up to iCloud. Therefore, this process is quite effective.
Make sure your old iPhone already has the latest iCloud backups. To do this, go to Settings, then tap Your Name at the top. After that, select iCloud and tap on ICloud Reserves. Tap backup Now to create the latest backup.
When you activate a new device, select the Recover option from the iCloud Reserve. Sign in with your Apple ID and select the latest backup. Make sure the device remains connected to Wi-Fi and charged until the process is complete.
This method is ideal for those who want to make data transfers wirelessly. It is also very helpful if you don't have an old device anymore. However, this process relies on internet connection speed.

Use Manual Transfer Method
Wire transfer is one of the fastest methods to move data, but the method needs to be done manually. You only need the right cable to connect both devices.
You need a charging cable and its type depends on your iPhone model. For example, to transfer data from the iPhone 14 to the iPhone 15, you need a Lightning cable to USB-C. Ensure the battery power of both devices is fully charged first.
After that, connect the two devices to the cable. For iPhone 14 or older, you may need a special adapter. Once connected, turn on a new iPhone and follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
