Former US Vice President Kamala Harris Regrets Not Blocking Joe Biden Against Trump In The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Former Vice President (Vice President) Kamala Harris admits that she regrets not opposing former US President Joe Biden's decision to run for re-election.

In an interview session on ABC television station quoted from ABC News, Tuesday local time, Harris said it had been careless not to voice his concerns about Biden's decision to run for re-election in the 2024 US Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"Did you regret not voicing your opinion at that time?" asked the host to Harris

"Yes," said Harris.

"And I have actually reflected on it, and I have written [in the book] about it."

"Does it matter if you do?" asked the host again.

"Obviously, but I can only take responsibility for myself and after thinking, you know, and I talk about it in the context of asking myself, 'is it a good act not to talk about it to him, or is it a careless act?'" Harris said.

"And from your point of view, I reflect on it and feel that it was a careless act for not talking about it with it," he continued.

According to Harris, he would be considered selfish if he expressed concern to Biden who ran again in the 2024 US Presidential Election against rival Donald Trump.

"I talked about what happened to my mind, right? And what happened to my mind not to talk about it was that it would be considered very selfish, and therefore may be less credibility that should be. But I did think about it," he said.

"And I also say, although I speak at length about this, my concern about his re-nomination has absolutely nothing to do with my admiration and knowledge of his capacity to serve as President of the United States, which is consistent and never shaky," Harris added.
