Deadline Only 2 Days! West Papua OPD Urged To Restore BPK Findings Of IDR 33 Billion
MANOKWARI West Papua Governor Dominggus Mandacan reminded regional apparatus organizations (OPD) within the West Papua Provincial Government to immediately complete the findings of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) regarding regional financial reports for the 2024 fiscal year worth Rp33.61 billion.
"The time for completing the findings is only two days away (September 24, 2025). The OPD has not yet, will be completed immediately," said Dominggus during a joint rally in Manokwari, Antara, Monday, September 22.
OPDs that do not realize the return of state financial losses according to the time limit are required to attend the trial of the Treasury Claims and Compensation Claims (TPTGR).
The TPTGR trial is scheduled to take place over the next two weeks to provide space for each OPD to find solutions to solving financial management problems for the 2024 period.
"If it's past the 24th of this month, APIP (government internal supervisory apparatus) comes in," said Dominggus.
According to him, the BPK's findings also contributed to the reason why the West Papua Provincial Government only obtained an Fair Opinion With Exceptions (WDP) for two consecutive years.
The West Papua Provincial Government, continued Dominggus, is committed to increasing internal supervision and control of the bureaucracy to prevent irregularities in financial management in the coming years.
"If you are still stubborn, we invite APH (law enforcement officers) to investigate these findings," he said.
West Papua Inspector Erwin PH Saragih explained, until now the return of BPK's findings has been realized Rp13.35 billion so that there is still Rp20.2 billion left which must be returned to the state treasury.
"OPD must complete the return of BPK's findings, this must be a serious concern so as not to cause legal problems," said Erwin.
