Because according to Abdullah, the issue of corruption in the hajj quota has attracted the attention of the wider community, especially prospective pilgrims who feel they have been harmed by this kind of practice.

"We are talking about the holy and sacred worship of the people. Do not let the pilgrimage of the people be tarnished by dirty practices such as corruption. Therefore, the KPK must be serious, fair, and transparent in working," he explained.

Abdullah also reminded that the DPR through Commission III will continue to oversee the legal process at the KPK, including ensuring that case handling runs according to the principles of good governance. As a working partner, he said, Commission III will ensure that the KPK carries out its duties properly.

"The public has the right to know the extent of handling this case," he said.

Abdullah also invited all parties to support the work of the KPK, not to hinder it. He emphasized that eradicating corruption is a joint work that requires integrity, courage, and commitment of all elements of the nation.

Corruption in the hajj quota is not just an ordinary crime, but a crime that robs people of their right to worship. Therefore, all parties must support the KPK. Don't let anyone try to protect the perpetrators for any reason," he concluded.
