Biotepitindo Diastika Celebrates Indonesian Red Cross Day With PMI And Ministry Of Health

JAKARTA - In commemoration of Indonesian Red Cross Day (PMI), PT Diastika Biotekando Tbk (CHEK) held social activities in the form of Blood Donors, Medical Check Up (MCU), and Talkshows with the theme "Curtain and Blood Quality in Indonesia", on Thursday, September 18. This event is a tangible manifestation of CHEK's commitment to supporting public health and strengthening cooperation with various stakeholders in the health and blood services sector.

In his remarks, the President Director of PT Diastika Biotegundo Tbk FX Yoshua Raintjung said that today he learned a lot of resource knowledge from PMI and the Ministry of Health. This activity is expected to provide direct benefits to the community and as an open company that prioritizes GCG in accordance with government directives to be independent by developing domestic production to be used in hospitals and UTD.

"With business lines that can be used, the blood transfusion unit distributes centrifuge, refrigerator, freezer blood bank and examination of immune/infection screening," he explained.

Meanwhile, Yanti Herman, Director of Health Services Development Referral to the Indonesian Ministry of Health, expressed his appreciation for the Diastika initiative. His party thanked PT Diastika Biotegundo Tbk for growing and successfully encouraging health workers and their support in health services in Indonesia with high TKDN products.

Dr. Elida Marpaung, M. Biomed, Head of the Hospital Blood Transfusion Unit. Cipto Mangunkusumo thanked PT Diastika for providing an opportunity to inform the importance of blood donation.

"For now, the blood of several components cannot be replaced, the activities carried out by PT Diastika must be followed by other companies as an example with an onsite blood donation that employees can donate about 30 minutes ago and can work again," he explained.
