Jordan's Crown Prince Ultimatum Of The US For Israel's Unilateral Actions

JAKARTA - Jordan's Crown Prince, Hussein bin Abdullah II, warned of the dangers posed by unilateral actions taken by the Israeli government. According to him, these actions undermined the prospect of peace in the Middle East region and sparked extremist rhetoric.

Citing AN, Thursday, September 18, in a meeting with members of the US Congress on Wednesday local time, the Crown Prince stressed the urgent need to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and ease tensions in the West Bank to restore regional stability.

In talks with the Chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, James Risk, and committee members, Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Crown Prince highlighted the importance of supporting territorial stability, sovereignty and integrity in Syria and Lebanon.

In a separate meeting with US Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, member of the Senate Budget Allocation Committee and Foreign Relations, the Crown Prince highlighted Jordan's commitment to domestic modernization and restored regional calm.

He reiterated Jordan's determination to continue to provide support to the Palestinian people to help alleviate the unprecedented humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
