Not Afraid To Face Naughty Developers, Ashanty: I Will Keep Fighting
Singer Ashanty showed a firm and undaunted attitude in fighting for the right to his father's land inherited which is now being seized by a developer.
Even though he felt disappointed because his good faith was ignored, Ashanty promised to continue to fight until his rights returned.
This conflict heated up after the developer, who was aware of the existence of a double ownership dispute, was desperate to continue the construction on the land.
"Now this developer, who I am disappointed to play wake up and add more," said Ashanty in an furious tone in Cinangka, Depok, Thursday, September 18.
He also sent a stern warning to the developer that he would never remain silent.
"I will continue to fight because, yes, what kind of housing do you want to build, I will continue to pursue," he said.
"How can people want to buy it if the land is from a disputed land," said Ashanty.
Ashanty also emphasized that the amount of loss was not the only reason he was fighting, but because this was a matter of rights.
"I want to be small, if it's called our right, yes," he concluded.
Previously, Ashanty expressed his deep disappointment with the developer and the land seller who are now in dispute with him.
He admitted that he had long opened the door of deliberation and even offered a peaceful solution, but his good intentions were ignored.
According to Ashanty, he realized that there was a possibility of a double certificate, where he and the other parties were both victims. Therefore, he did not want to be greedy and had offered a middle ground.

"I don't want to be like, 'Oh, this letter belongs to me, you can't get anything', no. Okay, if we both have the same letter, let's find a solution," he explained.
He even thought about sharing the results if the two were victims.
"Even though it's good, maybe he gets it from the people who buy it, so I don't want to be greedy," he added.
However, instead of looking for a solution, the developer who already knew about the dispute was desperate to sell and continue development.
"It turned out that he was playing and selling, in my opinion, it's not like this," regretted Ashanty.
It was this disappointment that made him now choose to take legal action firmly.
