Witness At The Trial Affirmed Nikita Mirzani Never Asked For Money Or Extorted Doctor Reza Gladys

JAKARTA - In the follow-up trial that ensnared him, Nikita Mirzani received favorable testimony from Yosi, a skincare consumer belonging to dr. Reza Gladys who was a witness.

During the trial, Nikita directly asked Yosi if she had asked her to extort or ask Doctor Reza Gladys for some money related to problematic products.

Answering this question, Yosi firmly denied it.

"Never. Nothing," answered Yosi during the trial, Thursday, September 18.

Nikita reiterated, "There is no conversation between me and Mbak to ask Reza for some money, right?"

The witness again replied, "No," Yosi replied.

This testimony strengthens Nikita Mirzani's argument that his involvement in this matter is purely to help victims, not to seek personal gain or extortion.

Yosi also confirmed that after their first meeting, there was no further communication between the two.

"There is no communication anymore, Sis," said Yosi.

The witness also added that he had never seen Nikita Mirzani reviewing or posting anything related to skincare products being questioned on his social media. "Never, sir," he said.

Furthermore, witness Yosi said the reason he 'guided Nikita Mirzani for the losses she experienced on Reza Gladys's beauty products.

"Eh, Sister of Witnesses, why did you ask me for help? Are there many other famous artists too?" asked Nikita.

Yosi also explained the reason. According to him, at that time Nikita Mirzani was known as one of the public figures who actively voiced issues related to excessive claims (overclaims) on products, in line with what other doctors did.

"Because the truth was that at that time I chose to eat with Kak Niki, where at that time Ms. Niki was indeed one of the artists who supported, one of whom was Dok Fii, to voice overclaim issues. That's why I hope Ms. Niki can help me," said Yosi.
