Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Land Operations In Gaza City
JAKARTA - Saudi Arabia strongly condemns Israel's ground operations in Gaza City, a day after Israel launched an attack that has long been echoed against the region.
The kingdom also urged members of the UN Security Council to act to stop what it describes as the killing, hunger, and forced transfer of Palestinians by Israelis, the Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministry said.
Israel on Tuesday began groundstrikes to take control of Gaza's main city center.
A wave of criticism came from countries in the region, including Qatar, which hosted and mediated ceasefire negotiations.
