King Charles Sambut Trump And Melania At Windsor Castle
JAKARTA - King Charles welcomed Donald Trump on the second state visit of the US president's historic second to Britain.
Trump and his wife, Melania, arrived at Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest castle to be inhabited in the world and home to the British kings for nearly 1,000 years.
There, there is a royal red carpet that includes a horse train procession, gun respect, military air performances, and a luxurious dinner.
Britain says this will be the biggest military ceremonial reception for a surviving state visit.
Trump, a great fan of the kingdom, has not hidden his joy at not only being the first US leader, but also the first elected politician to be invited by a British king for two visits.
On his arrival, Trump told reporters he loved England.
"This is a very special place," he said.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Keir Starmer hopes to leverage the sentiment for Britain's gain as his government seeks to strengthen the two countries' "special relations", deepen economic ties, secure billions of dollars in investment, discuss tariffs, and pressure US presidents on Ukraine and Israel.
The visit has resulted in a new technology pact between the two countries.

Starmer also wants further progress regarding tariffs.
"Basically, I was also there to discuss trade. They wanted to see if they could fine-tune this trade deal a little," Trump said as he left the White House for England on Tuesday.
"They wanted to see if they could get a slightly better deal, so we'd be talking to them," he continued.
However, while Starmer relies on an unrivaled royal appeal to persuade a president who loves Britain deeply, there are still many traps for the British prime minister.
